How Pacific Northwest Doodles Began

Pacific Northwest Doodles was born from a simple belief that the right dog can change a life.

What began as a small, intentional breeding effort has grown into a trusted program focused on raising well-socialized, emotionally sound doodles for families across the U.S. and Canada. From the start, the goal was clear: to raise puppies in loving, family environments—not kennels—so they develop into confident, adaptable companions.

Through a network of Guardian Homes and carefully trained Puppy Nannies, each puppy is given the individual attention and early experiences they need to thrive. With thoughtful pairings, comprehensive health testing, and proven socialization methods, Pacific Northwest Doodles is proud to offer puppies that go on to become family pets, therapy dogs, emotional support animals, and loyal lifelong companions.

This isn’t just about breeding dogs—it’s about raising them with purpose and placing them with families they’re meant to be part of.

Jenn has spent her life around dogs—but more than that, she’s spent her life understanding them. With over 15 years of experience in dog training, behavior, and temperament evaluation, Jenn’s journey began long before Pacific Northwest Doodles came to life. Her early work included training Autism Assistance Dogs and Diabetic Alert Dogs, which gave her deep insight into how a dog’s temperament, early development, and environment shape who they become.

What started as a passion for helping people through specialized dog training naturally evolved into a mission to raise puppies who are confident, well-mannered, and deeply connected to their people. Jenn has a gift for understanding dogs—not just what they do, but why they do it—and she brings that same level of thoughtfulness and intention to every puppy she raises.

When she founded Pacific Northwest Doodles, Jenn set out to do things differently. She didn’t want a kennel-based operation. She wanted every puppy to be raised in a loving home, where they’d be exposed to family life, nurtured from day one, and matched with the right people based on more than just appearance. That vision has grown into a program supported by Guardian Homes and a network of trusted Puppy Nanny Families, all working together to raise puppies with heart.

Jenn personally oversees every aspect of the breeding process—from health testing and pairings to socialization protocols and temperament evaluations. She works closely with families to help match them with the right puppy, using her experience to guide placements that lead to long-lasting, meaningful connections.
