Health Testing

We stand out from others by our high health testing standards to ensure we are breeding the healthiest dogs possible.

One of the ways we do this is by strict health testing measures prior to breeding.

What do we do?

DNA Testing through PawPrint Genetics.

Paw Print Genetics is the gold standard for DNA testing. Testing each sample twice with two independent methods ensures no inaccuracy. We do full essential and supplemental panels for each breed or breed combination, and test for coat and color to know we are also producing diverse colors with that adorable, fluffy doodle coat type. Color is not a priority for us, but if we can have solid temperament and healthy dogs, why not also make it a goal of producing dogs with beautiful coloring. We may not be able to know exactly what color combinations each litter will produce, but we can tell you what is possible based on our in-depth color testing.

Additional Testing

We have taken our dogs to vets certified in either Pennhip or OFA testing and gotten radiographs done to check for Hip dysplasia, Elbow dysplasia, and Luxating Patella’s and more.

What does this mean?

We offer a two year health guarantee and stand behind our testing. Only breeding the healthiest dogs also goes a long way in ensuring healthy, well bred, and conformationally sound dogs. Not testing would be me rolling the dice with every puppy, and I’m not willing to risk placing an unknown health status dog with one of my amazing families. Families are trusting me to make wise decisions in my breeding plans, and I take that job very seriously. At any time one of our families wants to see proof of health testing, they only have to ask. We do not post them publicly for fear of unscrupulous breeders stealing them for their own benefits, but it is always available to our clients or interested buyers at any time.
